Articles published in the Eastern African Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences are fully open access: immediately freely available to read, download, and share. Articles are published under the terms of a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) Creative Commons license which permits use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited. Under this license:
